Epson, one of the world leaders in printing and digital imaging has recently brought young fans in Malaysia a rare treat in the form of a meet and greet with Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke.

Epson has been the sponsor for Manchester United, one of the most famous football clubs in the world since 2010, and they have shared similarities in terms of striving for the pursuit of glory. As an extension of Epson’s global support for youth football, Epson leverages its connection with Manchester United to set up a meet and greet session between Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke and Tunas Lagenda Football Club to spur on our young youths in their football dreams.

“A national pastime, football is always on everyone’s minds and is something that brings the nation together. Today, Epson brings this opportunity to Malaysian youth and Man Utd fans to enjoy the spirit of football again right here in Kuala Lumpur. More importantly, we are giving our own TLFC or Tunas Lagenda Football Club boys an opportunity to meet this legend and be equally inspired to dream big and excel. We hope this will motivate them to pursue their dreams even further,” said Daisuke Hori, Managing Director of Epson Malaysia.
This experience that the youth club had allowed them to gain insights by a professional footballer in one of the most prestigious clubs in England. As the kids from the Tunas Lagenda Football Club graduate, some of them might even go on to be professional footballers whereby this experience may come in handy for them in the future.

Epson Malaysia also took this opportunity to treat Manchester United fans with a social media contest that allowed them the same opportunity to meet the legend in the meet and greet session as well as a chance to get his autograph.

During the event, Epson also reached out and engaged the brand with the guests of the special “Meet and Greet” session via product demos and user experiences such as photo printing with Epson’s latest range of L-series Ink Tank printers, as well as gaming experiences with Epson Projectors. To kick off the event, the legendary icon went on to sign his name on the Epson interactive ultra-short throw projector in the presence of all Epson guests.
