by Nicolas See Tho

First launched in February 6th 2017 and portrayed as the new FENDI communications project which is made by Millenials for Millenials, F Is For celebrates their 1 year anniversary with its first product, a gender-free t-shirt that mixes art and street.

Inspired by the Ring of the Future artwork, the unique performance that saw 6 young street artists from all over the world working together and writing the word Future on the FENDI rooftop in ROME, F Is For… makes a brand new t-shirt line which is dedicated to both men and women and it strives to be the symbol of the new generation’s hope to overcome cultural barriers and diversity.

F IS FOR… involved six young street artists from all over the world to create, for the very first time, a 6-hands artwork: The Ring of The Future. Gary from UK, Cave from Iran, Hillel Smith from the USA, Roes from Hong Kong, Casper from Japan and Jodae from South Korea wrote the word FUTURE in their language inside a yellow ring, recalling a visual embrace, where the last letter meets and melts into the next one into a cultural hypnotic loop. A FUTURE embodying new generations’ hope to overcame cultural barriers and diversity, embracing the power of thinking and celebrating Palazzo Della CIviltà Italiana rooftop as the place where everything becomes possible. Each artist brought his own passion to create this shared artwork, mixing their distinctive styles yet their cultures in a new collective language. All the talents collaborated in the realization and finishing of their own art yet the others. Six different ways of communicating in a new artistical melting pot – from English to Arabic, from Hebrew to Mandarin, Japanese and Korean – with one positive message only, overcoming all barriers towards an embracing fearless future.
