The 3-month stint of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2018 has finally come to a close, and taking home the win this time is Geek Fam from Malaysia. Their win has been brought together by skilful displays of strategy and teamwork by defeating all their rivals and giving prestige to our country.
The finale consisted of a Geek Fam lineup with Skemberlu, March, ChYuan, Oli and Playhard as they fought against Indonesia’s Boom.ID with Quid Pro Quo from the Philippines. Geek Fam took home the win with a score of 2-1.
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2018 was a Dota 2 competition which had gathered 8 finalists from 8 participating countries with the first preliminary round being conducted in each of the participating countries. The winner of these precursor rounds was then invited to the finals which were held at Jakarta, Indonesia.
The end of this competition marks a bigger sequel as the Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 will include 14 APAC countries and will hold their grand finals in Bangkok this time around.
