One’s hair is the epitome of crowning glory. The full head of hair tells a story about a person just by looking at them. For example, a frizzy hair shows you’re a person that doesn’t take good care of physical appearance. I for one am guilty of this. There will be times where I just get so lazy to condition or put oil on my hair. Results, I get lectured by my friends and mum of how I should be taking care of my thick hair. After an earful of nagging, I finally decided to turn over a new leaf. I tried a few home remedy for my hair and honestly, it worked instantly. My hair got smoother, healthier and even I might add, could be in a hair shampoo commercial. That’s how my confidence shoot way up high.
Home remedies are essentially good for your whole body and have been known to perform well. Damaged, frizzy and split ends hair can be saved with some of this homemade remedies you can find at home.
1.Olive oil
Put the moisture back into dry hair by warming up 1/2 cup olive oil (do not boil it), and then rubbing it into your hair. Wrap your hair a plastic bag (or towel) and leave it for 45 minutes, Shampoo and condition it after. The more frequent you do, the better chances of your hair turning out to be healthy and strong.
2. Avocado
Its oils (which are light and moist like our natural skin) and protein are known to be the best combination to a smoother hair. Just mash half of an avocado and massage it onto damp hair. You can amplify your treatment by mixing ingredients like sour cream or mayonnaise.
3. Eggs
Eggs have been known to provide great protein for the hair so applying it directly to your scalp may just do the trick. Mix one egg with a small amount of shampoo, then apply to your damaged hair for five minutes and rinse well.
4. Apple cider vinegar
This is how to repair damaged hair with apple cider vinegar. Combine 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 3 egg whites, then rub the mix into your hair. Keep your hair covered for about a half hour using plastic wrap or a shower cap, then shampoo and rinse.
5. Eat Omega 3
As much as applying hair is healthy, to ensure you get the right system in your body so your hair grows out stronger, take one to three 250-milligram capsules of borage oil, evening primrose oil, or flaxseed oil one to three times a day.
6. Beer
Yes, you heard that right. This fermented drink contains generous supplies of yeast which tends to strengthen and structure hair. Just mix half a cup of flat beer (let it sit for few hours to deplete carbonation) with 1 tablespoon of light oil and raw egg. Apply to clean, and damp hair. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
7. Butter
If you want your hair to shine bright like a diamond, massage it into your dry hair, then cover your hair with a shower cap for about a half hour. Shampoo as usual, and rinse all the butter out.
I hope with this solution, you’ll be feeling one in a million and confidently strutting down the street like how Beyonce does it!
