What could be so terrible (or hilarious) about this driving license issue? You have the right name, address, and birthdate. So, what’s the real problem besides the fact the driver didn’t ask for a licence and didn’t need renewing?
A driver was surprised to receive a brand new driving licence in the post last week – almost two years before it was due to be renewed. Anthony Kilsby, 36, from Melbourne in Australia, was so confused that he had to contact the relevant authority on Twitter.

In the driving license portrayed a different picture. To be specific, it was an Asian woman picture whereas Anthony is a Caucasian man with a dreadlock. He nicely pointed out to the person in charge and thought he was being scammed.
A response from David Shelton, Executive Director, Registration and Licensing, VicRoads said: “As a result of a processing error at one of our customer service centres, an incorrect photo was matched to the wrong customer’s file.
“We’ve spoken to both customers to apologise and have reviewed their files to ensure they are matched with the correct photos and taken action to ensure this doesn’t happen again.”
I finally understand what mistaken identity is all about. Teehee.
