Genting Dream Cruise Boarding Now

Dream Cruises, the luxury Asian cruise brand of Genting Cruise Lines, celebrated the arrival of Genting Dream yesterday at the Boustead Cruise Centre in Port Klang, Selangor, in the presence of more than 400 guests including government dignitaries, media, business and trade partners. Asia’s luxury cruise line, Dream Cruises debuted Genting Dream to the high-end market in Asia last November to great acclaim receiving a Star Performer Top Ten rating in the Large Resort category of the highly-revered Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Guide 2018 along with ‘Best New Ship’ and ‘Best Cruise Line – Entertainment’ recognition at the Travel Weekly Asia Reader’s Choice Awards 2017.

Notable attendees at the welcome event included Guest of Honour, Mr Manoharan Periasamy, Director of Package Development Division, Tourism Malaysia.

In conjunction with Genting Dream’s inaugural call to Port Klang today, Dream Cruises is pleased to showcase Genting Dream to its invited guests with a special ship tour, as well as an exclusive preview of Dream Cruises’ thrilling signature production show inspired by the hull art of Genting Dream, conceived by pop-art artist Jacky Tsai, entitled “Voyage of a Lover’s Dream” – a tale of love, hope and the overcoming of seemingly impossible boundaries between a mermaid and an astronaut.

Mr Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises said, “Today, we are truly excited to debut Genting Dream in Port Klang, Selangor, which is also close in proximity to Kuala Lumpur, as well as in Penang last week (27 Nov). The 18-deck ship also showcases Crystal Life Spa health and wellness facilities featuring the largest Asian reflexology spa at sea, 1,100 square metres of retail space and over 35 restaurants and bar concepts, including Bistro by Mark Best, from the internationally acclaimed Australian Chef, and the world’s first Johnnie Walker House at sea. Genting Dream also offers a diverse range of leisure and entertainment activities including six water slides, a rope and rock climbing wall, a 35m zip-line that swings over the open seas, a mini-golf course, a glow-in-the-dark bowling alley, a 999-seater Zodiac Theatre for world-class production shows, state-of-the-art karaoke facilities, as well as internationally acclaimed nightclub Zouk and the Zouk Beach Club for Zouk Out At Sea parties.
