Three different flavours of the Haraju-Milk

Three different flavours of the Haraju-Milk

Haraju-Milk, RM 9.90

We waited in high anticipation and quite literally oohed when the first dessert arrived. The Haraju-Milk (RM9.90) is served in a charming bottle and comes with biscuits for dipping, should you want to. This drink has a velvety flavour which compliments the texture of your palette – making it easier to drink. The milk is much thicker and creamier than ordinary milk and comes in three flavours; Coffee, Butterscotch and Fruit. The Coffee milk tastes similar to your classic coffee latte, while the Butterscotch milk has the creamy sweet, slightly savoury taste. The Fruit milk might sound like pretty awkward combination to a few Malaysians, but you will certainly change your mind after the first sip. After all, Japanese and Koreans are known for their Banana and Melon milk!
hara strawberry
StrawBelicious, RM27.90

The next dessert, StrawBelicious is a carousel of all favourable ingredients mushed into one heavenly goodness! It consists of Korean strawberries, Belgian chocolate or house-made honeycomb (choose!), and made perfect with vanilla ice cream on top! Cut through this colourful dessert and you’ll see a stack of toast layers filled with ice cream and whipped cream. We would suggest you to share this instant favourite with your close friends, but we guarantee you would never see anyone so greedy until they have had a taste of this dessert. It’s just that good!
hara bomb
Haraju-Bomb, RM33.90

The name might give it away, but the presentation of the Haraju-Bomb is certainly the bomb, indeed! With the green tea ice cream as the centre of attention, the Haraju-bomb is covered with Belgian chocolate sticks, frozen bananas, strawberries and a dash of chocolate sprinkles. The wonderful texture from melted green tea ice cream and chocolate sticks bring a rich taste that is soothing to the throat. Be careful though; the ice cream oozes out from the sides of the toast, so you need to gobble it up quickly before it melts, or just share it with your friends! This bombastic dessert definitely earns two thumbs up from us.
hara tuna
Salmon Tuna with Cheese Hotdog, RM22.90

Of course, desserts are not the only meal this cute, hip café has to offer. One of their best-selling dishes, Salmon Tuna with Cheese Hotdog  incorporates Japanese cuisine. The dish is essentially a Japanese rice ball, also known as onigiri, with salmon and tuna wrapped inside. It is complemented with a side of fresh salads, seasoned scrambled eggs and miso soup, along with a cheese sausage made in-house.

hara tart
Haraju-Tart, RM19.90

Finally, we indulged in our sweet cravings with Haraju-Tart, Haraju-Cube’s signature creamy, melt-in-your-mouth cheese tart. It is served with vanilla ice cream and sauce of your choice; strawberry or blueberry. Whip out your phone and get the Boomerang app ready, because the moment you start breaking the tart into half, creamy cheese would come oozing out! Definitely Instagram-worthy!

Good news to Subang Jaya residents, Daichi and Kent have confirmed that Haraju-Cube will be launching another outlet in Sunway Pyramid around November! If you’re a lover of anything cute and sweet, you most certainly have to pay Haraju-Cube a visit.
