Bestseller, an international family-owned fashion company from Denmark, showcased selected pieces of their upcoming AW17 and SS18 collections for their top three fashion brands, Jack & Jones, Vero Moda and ONLY at a special preview in Bangsar last week. The trio will soon be available at their first flagship store in Suria KLCC expected to launch in November 2017.
Bestseller also took the opportunity to also introduce some of their creative directors who gave an exclusive glimpse into the world of designers and shared some of the inspirations behind their designs. Established in Copenhagen in 1975, the Bestseller Fashion Group is 100 percent owned by the Holch Polvsen family. Bestseller Fashion Group China was established in 1996 as an independent company by the Polvsen family together with Allan Warburg and Dan Friss, who has been heading the company as CEO.
According to Dan Friis, the company sees great potential in Malaysia to serve as a gateway for BESTSELLER to enter the South-East-Asian region. “Malaysia’s vibrant retail sector, the fashion-forwardness of its people, as well as its well-developed e-commerce infrastructure and market, were the main reasons we chose to bring out top labels in Malaysia and develop business in the region from here,” said Friis.
Jack & Jones came out of a love for denim which eventually branches out towards a quality fashion for young men, while Vero Moda has been present in the mind of young women looking for new trends, accessible styles and fashionable must-have items since 1987. ONLY is a international high fashion brand for females, with a growing global presence and a sound, responsive business operation. It’s a creative space where a girl can experiment with different attitudes feels and looks.
