Motorola has launched Moto Z2 Play, a thinner, lighter and faster-performing addition to the Moto Z family. The new smartphone sports that all-business look at first glance.
Peek closer however, and there are notable differences between first- and second-gen models. Its all-metal unibody design houses a 5.5” Full HD super Amoled display for colour and detail. It brags as having the first camera that combines laser and dual autofocus pixels which can give you sharp images in low light conditions. The front camera comes with dual correlated temperature (CCT) flash for selfie and wide-angle images.
As Siri is to iPhone and Bixby is to Samsung, Moto Voice is your assistant for the Moto Z2 Play in that it automatically launches applications without having to touch or unlock your phone. The fingerprint feature has also been redesigned – now offering one navigation button for quicker screen toggling.
As is its predecessor, Moto Z2 Play is compatible with Moto-Mods: clip-on accessories that work with its Z-series smartphones and transform their functionality or style. To those of you who are not familiar, mods attach to the back of any Moto Z-series smartphone using really strong built-in magnets. The good thing about this is there’s no fiddling around with clumsy fingers or clips on the side of the phone. Indeed, no fuss at all.
