I’m pretty sure we all know who Mia Khalifa is. If you claim that you don’t, you are either lying or you have never read entertainment news in your whole life. Oh, did I mention that you could be lying?
Mia shot to fame back in 2014 when she had sex on camera while wearing a hijab. Despite quitting the X-rated acting scene last year, Mia is still one of the most popular adult stars on Pornhub. The Lebanese ex-porn actress is known to be friendly and accommodating with her fans, hence when the news came about that she punched someone for trying to take a picture with her, it came off as a little shocking. Let’s backtrack a little:
A man tried to take a photo of Mia when he spotted her walking on the street of Texas, without asking for her permission, and this obviously didn’t sit well with her, so she socked him in the face. The man doesn’t seem too upset however, and took it to Twitter in a joking manner, and showed his bruised face from her punch.
Soon enough, people shared their opinions and views on Twitter regarding the issue. Some even defended Mia, posting their own selfies with her where she can be seen smiling brightly with them. Mia even got involved in one conversation on Monday, replying to one of the tweets with, “You were the sweetest. Thank you for asking me nicely rather than jumping in front of me while I was walking and shoving a cam in my face.”
This effectively explained the situation and shut down all speculations and accusations from her haters. Having been an actress (it IS a valid, paid job) for years, being on camera isn’t something new to her. However, this doesn’t mean you can whip out a camera at any given time and take photos of them without consent. Even when a friend does this I flip out, now imagine a stranger doing it. How hard was it to ask for permission before taking a photo of someone?
