Panasonic LUMIX GH5: The Cinematic Powerhouse – With Griffin Hammond

by Nashata K.

Griffin Hammond, ambassador of the Panasonic LUMIX GH5 was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and gave an elegant presentation about documentary film making, using the LUMIX GH5. Organized by 2cents in partnership with Panasonic Malaysia, the event was held to showcase the capabilities of the new Panasonic GH5 which is regarded as a cinematography power house. Being able to attend such an event was truly a marvel, especially if film-making is something that inspires.

Hammond, currently residing in New York City, is known for producing DIY film-making tutorials for indie filmmakers and his multiple award-winning documentary Sriracha. He flew in to Malaysia (7 countries in total in South East Asia for the workshop) to talk about his journey as a filmmaker using the GH1, GH2, GH3, GH4 and now GH5. It is no wonder Panasonic felt it would be fitting to make Hammond the brand ambassador of their new flagship model.
