Perhaps you’re all too familiar with the feeling: Racing heartbeat, sweaty palms, raging nerves (the good kind). When your fight or flight responses kick in but just at the right amount to make you feel extremely excited. You, just like most adrenaline junkies out there crave the high and I’m not talking about your average, run-of-the-mill activities that most people will be perfectly contented with (like driving slightly above the speed limit because of a sudden impulsion). We get it. Normal sports don’t cut it for you and spending your Sunday afternoon having a quiet picnic would be hell on earth!

Here’s a list of activities found in Malaysia to appease your inner daredevil:

# 1 – Dinner in the Sky

For RM229, you can enjoy an hour long, 3-course dining experience whilst suspended in mid-air. Located at Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC), Dinner In The Sky offers you the entire view of KLCC and KL City.

Well, the sky’s the limit, right? Visit www.dinnerinthesky.my to learn more.

# 2 – Flyboarding

This activity has recently picked up in popularity and it’s pretty similar to wakeboarding except in this instance, a powered jet ski propels water from hoses that are attached to your legs, basically allowing you fly at least 30 metres into the air. You could also dive in head first into the water and surface up again in flight mode or do mid-air somersaults. Think Free Willie meets Superman – you get the picture, right?

Located in Maritime Centre, Precinct 5, Putrajaya, the sport is available between 9am to 5pm, daily.

# 3 –  Bungee Jumping

Satisfy your thrill-seeking desire with this well-known activity. The most popular place that exhibits this sport is Sunway Lagoon’s Extreme Park where you’d be able to dive from a height of 22 metres, which is the rough equivalent of a 9-storey building.

On a side note, if you’re a seasoned BASE jumper, KL Tower is hosting their next KL Tower International Jump in late September this year. From a whopping 984.2 ft, this is single-handedly one of the most thrilling and exciting events of its kind. Check out your eligibility at http://www.kltowerjump.com/

# 4 – Paragliding

Check out Malaysia’s only paragliding flight park in Bukit Jugra, Banting, located about 40 minutes away from the city. If you’re thrill-thirsty and would also like to enjoy a scenic view, the lush greens of this all natural terrain will surely be quite the spectacle.

# 5 – Zorbing

Tickle your adventure-loving fancy with this extreme sport. Zorbing traditionally requires two participants, weighing no more than 160kg in combined weight. It’s a matter of simply entering the 3-metre inflatable ball and rolling downhill. There are currently a few locations for this sport including Titiwangsa Lake in Kuala Lumpur and The Heritage Village in Seri Kembangan.
