Influencers take a selfie with the Lumix GF9
There’s a new mirrorless camera in town and it’s called the Panasonic LUMIX GF9. Equipped with a 16MP micro four thirds sensor, this camera isn’t only highly compact, it’s offers plenty of functionality as well. And for RM2,399, it looks like a pretty interesting option.
Among its many features is the ability to record 4K videos, and something what Panasonic calls the 4K PHOTO. With 4K PHOTO, the camera quickly shoots multiple images (30 fps to be exact) and lets you select which images to keep.
There’s also features like Focus Stacking, Post Focus, and Light Composition, which make it easier to take great photos in a variety of situations and environments.
The GF9 also features DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology where the camera and its lenses exchange digital signals at high speed, resulting in ultra-fast auto focusing (as fast as 0.07 seconds!).
Like many new cameras in the market today, the GF9 has a tiltable LCD screen. This screen can tilt 180-degrees upwards for easier selfies. When the LCD is flipped, the camera goes into Self Shot automatically, where you can access options like Soft Skin, Defocusing and Slimming effects easily.
Last but not least, the GF9 has Wi-Fi connectivity. Just download the ‘Panasonic Image App’ on your smartphone and connect it to the camera to remotely shoot and easily transfer files from the camera to your phone.
