For Squid Game fans who are curious about how the series will go, it appears that their questions will be answered eventually. Recently, the director of the successful Netflix series hinted at a possible continuation, a season 2 option.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk has also predicted that there would be a second season. Especially at the end of the film, which leaves room for a second season.
Hwang Dong-hyuk stated that there is constant chatter regarding season two, but that it would not happen straight soon.
“Of course, there are discussions. It is unavoidable since it has been extremely successful,” he stated.
“I’m working on another project that I’m extremely excited about. I’m debating which one to tackle first. I’ll talk to Netflix about it ”
