To all Malaysians who are returning back from overseas and are in need of a place to stay during their compulsory 14-day quarantine period, OYO Malaysia and its partners nationwide are now offering discounts of between 50-60% with rates starting from as low as RM19 per night.
The charges OYO is offering for a 7-day stay would be RM450, whereas the 14-day stay is RM800. Lastly, for a 30-day stay, it would be RM1500. That said, the hotels would still be operating, as usual, this MCO period and welcome all domestic guests who are working in the line of essential services as well as foreign guests.
To make a booking, interested guests can contact the OYO Careline at +6012-296 8682 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The hotel chain’s offer comes in response to the need for more quarantine centres as we are expected to have many Malaysians flying back home from overseas and to immediately begin their 14-day mandatory quarantine.
There are at least 90 quarantine centres opened nationwide however it is no doubt that we would need more to cater to a large number of returning citizens. Hence, the government has come up with a solution to turned a number of hotels to quarantine centres. Also, citizens who are required to quarantine at hotels are given RM150 a day which is provided by the government.
