Working professionals in Kuala Lumpur will soon be able to improve their lifestyles without having to go through the traffic hassle. Malaysia’s iconic and innovative wellness club, Babel, at its pre-launch event recently officially announced that it will be opening its doors to their second outlet right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Strategically located on the ground floor of Suria KLCC, Babel is set to welcome fitness lovers and first-timers beginning from July 2019.
The event took place at W Hotel Kuala Lumpur and was graced by a number of local celebrities and influencers. Those who were present were treated to a set of intense yet fun dance, movement and aquatic workout session-all of which are offered as group classes at Babel.
Completing the Consumer’s Journey
During its inception back in late 2017, Babel first started out as a gym, with its first outlet making waves in the fitness industry from the rooftop of Menara Ken TTDI. It then broadened its focus on routine fitness levels to build on founder Tan’s concept of Babel, which spans across the mental and physical well-being of each member.
Spanning across 15,000 square feet, its new KLCC outlet will immerse customers through a complete experiental journey, enabling them to tune out from the hustle and bustle happening outside.
The outlet will boast unrivalled amenities in Malaysia to date. Built with exquisite aesthetics, Babel KLCC hosts a premium yet warm and welcoming environment. It is also fully furnished with equipment from the acclaimed, state of the art Technogym Artis Line.
Furthermore, Babel is the only health and wellness club in Malaysia to incorporate the MyWellness App into members workout regimes. The app assists Babel members to track their progress, record daily workouts and make bookings for group classes each week.
More Than Just A “Gym”
In addition, Tan unveiled that the new KLCC outlet will be the first health and wellness centre in Malaysia to host a full-fledged restaurant through a partnership with notable healthy food and beverage provider, La Juiceria Superfoods.
Expanding its health and wellness ecosystem, this move was in line with Babel’s mission to inspire its client’s journey through change for a better lifestyle.
Tan also announced that Babel ignited a special collaboration with W Hotel Kuala Lumpur to conduct the club’s signature aquatic group classes there. It is the first health and wellness club to offer “Floating Classes” at the heart of the city centre.
W Hotel is located 400 metres away from Babel KLCC, which is a short stride from the outlet.
“To me, clients’ experience always comes first, and I highly regard the way we make our clients feel as they take on their respective journeys with us. This is why we build meaningful partnerships with other industry players who share similar values. It is in our mission to be able to provide top-quality options, services and facilities to every single one of our members,” added Tan.
Babel KLCC will occupy the ground floor and first floor of Suria KLCC and is easily accessible via the mall’s P.Ramlee entrance, located right in front of De Beers and Chanel, beside Dior.
Besides the high-tech equipment and facilities, it will be offering 26 different signature group classes for members to choose from. Members can also expect to be spoilt for choices between solo workouts, group classes and personal training sessions with Babel’s PTA Global certified professional trainers, where each personalised training is backed by science.
Every room at Babel KLCC is built to pique the senses; promising the best quality sound and complemented with innovative features, such rhythmic lightings to spark enthusiastic emotions for enjoyable and satisfying workout sessions.
