To celebrate its official launch in Malaysia, an international fashion company, BESTSELLER recently hosted ‘The Vibe’, a unique launch party which brought together the best in fashion, music and entertainment in a stunning setting.
The Danish fashion giants gave the audience a night to remember as the exclusive launch was
held in a venue that was custom made for the occasion, overlooking the iconic Suria KLCC which
houses Bestseller’s brand new flagship store.
Speaking on the occasion, Dan Friis, CEO of BESTSELLER Fashion Group China shared his
excitement about launching Bestseller here and mentioned that the company is eager to build a
fruitful and long-lasting relationship with Malaysians.
“We see great potential in this country and with a young, diverse fashion-forward population, we
feel that there is no better place to start building our brands in Southeast Asia than Malaysia,”
“With our Jack & Jones and VERO MODA brands now available in Suria KLCC, we look forward to
announce an exciting new store location to add ONLY to our physical line-up in Kuala Lumpur
very soon!” he said.
Bestseller’s top three fashion labels showcased their Autumn/Winter 2017 and Spring/Summer
2018 collections with a contemporary fashion show, which paired each brand with an artist
whose music and performance best complemented the unique vibe expressed by the featured
Vero Moda, which primarily appeals to the stylish young women looking for new trends and
accessible styles was first to take the stage. With vibrance at the core of its designs, the upcoming
collections featured more pastel colours and floral patterns. Also dressed in Vero Moda was
Meliha Faisal, a Malaysian singer-songwriter and musician who channeled some Vero Moda
energy through her captivating electro-pop performance.
Jack and Jones, the hero of Bestseller Fashion Group showcased the many facets of a man’s
wardrobe, ranging from his playful youth to his need for timeless silhouettes. The upcoming
collections of the brand are heavily inspired by the iconic twentieth-century menswear; with a
focus on details and authenticity. Denim, one of its core collections is still regarded as the
backbone of the brand. Sharing the Jack and Jones stage and the desire to innovate was
Malaysian rapper and producer, Airliftz with an exhilarating performance.
ONLY, the youngest brand in Bestseller’s lineup was last to take to the stage. It presented its
upcoming collections with an amazing line up of models featuring pieces from the TRUE, LOVE,
PLAY and PEPSI collections. Performing alongside the models was Zamaera, an up and coming
Malaysian female rapper whose performance perfectly embodied ONLY’s cool, swag and sexy
Another highlight of the evening was a special appearance by Malaysian hip-hop icon, Joe
Flizzow, who performed his latest solo single, ‘Drop’ for the first time in front of a live audience
with his dancers who were all donning Bestseller brands.
