Lamborghini has been known for their exotic supercars which have been the epitome of speed, power and luxury. Celebrities drive it, while billionaires collect it. But recently, their latest model the Lamborghini Urus marks a shift in direction, as it would be their very first SUV to enter their line of automobiles.
The Lamborghini Urus is named after the Aurochs one of the wild domestic cattle from our ancestors, and it is fitted with a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine capable of delivering up to 650 horsepower and going from 0-100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h. You don’t put a Lamborghini emblem on it and expect any less, am I right!
This model comes with 6 driving modes which are Strada, Sport, Corsa(race), Neve,(snow) Terra(off-road), and Sabbia(sand) and these modes can be accessed through the Tambino drive selector. With Strada, the Urus changes height according to speed, while it reduces that height when converting to Sport. In Corsa, the Urus becomes more accurate with minimal body roll while the off-road features have ground clearance raised with an electromechanical active roll stabilisation, marking a first in Lamborghini.
It is also fitted with carbon ceramic brakes which by far, is the best available with nearly no brake fade, while the tires are wrapped and made by Pirelli. The interior can me be made to include either leather, Alcantara, aluminium, carbon fibre, or wood trims.
