Pretty girls! There, I said it. Apart from it, are you an AV enthusiast? No, not that kind, we’re talking about Audio-visual. If you are, head on to KL International AV Show 2017 at Sunway Putra Hotel this weekend!
Serving as a national annual platform for the introduction of new AV technologies, this year KLIAV show dishes out innovative main attraction, including the long-awaited arrival of 4K programmes such as 4K UHD BluRay.
With these true 4K media now available the UHDTV and projector can finally be said to have come of age.
Epson brings gaming to life with their full HD projector that produces crisp and sharp image.
On the audio side, the march of high resolution multichannel audio continues to grow with more DTS-X and Dolby Atmos enabled components now easily available and much more affordable.
Since Dolby Atmos/DTS-X means a big immersive sound, naturally it serves as a catalyst for the expected growth of big screen DTV/UHD TVs, projectors and speaker systems.
The AV system by Pioneer is able to support both Dolby Atmos and DTS-X and brings users their full immersive experience.
The prominent home brands like Sharp and Samsung are also presenting their latest TVs, while audio-oriented brands like Yamaha and Klipsch feature their home theatre experience.
Of course, there will always be super expensive, luxurious state-of-the-art brands of audio and visual equipment for the highly affluent market, like the KEF Porsche and Devialet.
Devialet Gold Phantom produces a rich, luxurious sound
The list of BluRay movies with highly immersive and engaging surround audio that strongly reinforces the big visual effects, is also growing at a faster and accelerated pace, hence you can expect DVD stores competing to give out discounts.
Speedo, the one stop DVD centre, puts their BluRay blockbuster collection on sale.
There’s also the Myway Smart KTV system. I couldn’t help snapping a couple of photos of the model singing when they asked if I would like to give it a try. After relentless pushing from the bosses, I agreed to this
shameless act of courage.
Here’s a video of it happening!
…Just kidding, I won’t actually show you the mediocre performance. Nuh-uh. However, you can have a look at the KTV system itself:
All things considered, visitors to this year’s KL International AV Show 2017 will get to see, hear and feel audio and video components that are better and more refined yet surprisingly more affordable.
I believe good home entertainment products as you will witness in the KL International AV Show, are no longer the privilege of the rich few. So head on over!
